Rafter Builder is the roof framing toolkit we wished existed. Whether you're cutting common rafters on a simple gable or laying out a complex hip-and-valley system, every calculation is handled — to 1/16″ accuracy — and visualized in 3D.
The app covers 11 roof types: Common Rafter, Hip, Valley, Gable Truss, Dormer, Single Slope, Open Valley, Gambrel, Turret, Bay, and A-Frame. Each builder produces a complete cut list with bird's mouth, plumb cut, seat cut, and tail dimensions. Results update in real time as you adjust pitch, span, or overhang.
